Description
  • The Operations Manager is responsible for all operational aspects and up-time of the data centre.
  • He or She will oversee the day-to-day site operations and ensure that work is done safely, on time, on budget and to the right quality standard, in according with data centre Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Emergency Operations Procedures (EOP).
  • The Operations Manager will manage a team of engineers / technicians to ensuring proper operations and maintenance of the data centre and related infrastructure including installation of server hardware and components, and take charge of installations and troubleshooting within the site, physical security, compliance, vendor management and oversight of projects affecting the data center. Additionally,
  • The Operations Manager will also participate in global conversations, initiatives, and strategies, working in close collaboration with the data centre facilities manager and their team.
  • The Operations Manager is ensuring each shift is staffed with employees processing proper qualifications and must possess strong management and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring effective and efficient management of day to day 24×7 data centre Operations.
  • Coordinate with clients to fulfil Remote-Hands/Smart-Hands requirements and to ensure
  • proper notification and communication.
  • Manage/Improve the workflows and throughput for data centre Operations.
  • Writing policies, process and procedures for all aspects of data centre operations.
  • Management of large scale events in the data centre (s).
  • Manage engineer tickets and project activities.
  • Ensuring his/her data centre is compliant with all relevant security policies and procedures.
