My client is a high growth VC-backed SaaS based pricing and revenue optimisation solutions provider in the ecommerce tech space, going through a considerable period of growth on the back of a strong year and a further recent round of funding.

They are looking for a passionate and experienced Director of Sales to pioneer and grow their NY based Sales team. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director of Sales will play a key role in expanding the US based sales operation and attracting top talent to join the team. My client is extremely passionate about building one of the best SaaS sales teams in the industry, so they maintain a high bar for excellence when hiring. Their Sales organization is a very process and data-driven one, and view that as an absolute must to build for scale. Key Responsibilities


  • Build and manage a team of top performing Account Executives
  • Continuously arm the team with the tools and support they need to succeed & overachieve
  • Deliver ongoing coaching and training sessions to ensure the team continues to develop
  • Meet and exceed aggressive monthly sales goals
  • Effective sales forecasting and pipeline management

Required qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of successful software sales experience, SaaS preferred
  • 2+ years of management experience with a track record of consistent quota achievement
  • Experience in both high velocity and enterprise level sales
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Obvious passion and people skills
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • Consistent over-goal achievement in past experiences
  • Technically adept; experienced with web technologies
  • Passion for cloud technologies and ecommerce
  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional business acumen, self-starter and results-driven personality
