Document Control Specialist -Autonomous Vehicles

Phoenix, Arizona


I am hiring for a Document Control Specialist in Phoenix to oversee the coordination of controlled documentation within an Autonomous Vehicle client who is introducing a first-of-its-kind solution to their growing market.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include the following:

  • Plan, develop, organise, write and edit operational procedures and manuals
  • Full control on all product documentation
  • Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts
  • Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
  • Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content
  • Manage updates and revisions to technical literature
  • Update doc according to requests
  • Check doc integrity with actual prototype and product
  • ECO control for all docs
  • Back up for configuration control manager

Required qualification

In order to apply for this role, please ensure you meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven experience working in a technical writing position
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Proficiency in MS Visio
  • Proficiency in Solidworks Composer
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
  • Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
  • Team player
