Are you someone who likes to build great things, and who has a really strong experience in advertising technology?

My client, who are a multi-award winning digital marketing company, are looking for a VP Sales with a proven track record of building and scaling multi-platform advertising and marketing solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving complex marketing challenges, and an obsessive focus on customer focus.

With offices in Europe and the US, you’ll be representing the company in Germany, and collaborating with international teams. They offer an entrepreneurial environment with a modern office space in the center of Berlin, and a great team atmosphere: awarded as an outstanding tech startup, and “Happy At Work” label.

Key Responsibilities


  • Prospect, build and scale key strategic accounts. Develop value-based sales proposals, and negotiate contracts with clients
  • Stay ahead of the curve on marketplace trends, and proactively anticipate client needs and identify potential issues
  • Manage the team’s utilization of Salesforce and report on team activity
  • Take front line responsibility for decision making about account & resource prioritization
  • Handle sales team and client escalations
  • Achieving sales targets

Required qualification

  • Proven track record in New Business Sales, with a Consultative Sales approach, and excellent client and agency contacts
  • 8+ years Ad-Tech Sales experience (2+ years including people management)
  • Strong technology skills – able to lead product demonstrations and credibly discuss technical topics e.g. data integration via plugins, APIs, SDKs, etc.
  • Fantastic communication skills with internal departments and with clients/agencies
  • International vibe: working language is English
